Hi!

I was hoping for a little help with the game. I'm using Dolphin 3.0-735 and having an issue with the FPS. It's playable, it looks beautiful, and works even better with my controller. However, I'm having severe speed issues; I haven't even left the starting area yet. I'm getting between 21 - 24 fps outside (not bad, but it can be a little jarring especially when..) but inside houses I'm getting a LOT more. Problem is, the music speeds up, slows down, speeds up, slows down every couple seconds. It really brings me out of the experience.

I'm running on Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit.
AMD Phenom 9750 Quad-core 2.40GHz
8.00 GB RAM (7.75 usable)
ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series

Just wanted to add an edit: Outside, I'm getting up to 27 FPS but it quickly drops back down to about 23 - 24. Like I said, it's not terrible.. just a little sluggish and you can tell because of Link's sliding and rolling. Inside, I looked at it again, I'm getting between 37 and 60 FPS and it just jumps around within that range.

Ah. Damn. So just play it as is and get over it, then? I can do that lol.

Doesn't surprise me, though. It's not very new.

edit: Find it very strange I can run Witcher 2 on fairly high graphics, but Wind Waker gives me problems. Damn you, Nintendo!

The witcher 2 is a PC games, Wind Waker is not.

Wind Waker needs to be run through an emulator, which is extremely demanding on the cpu.

Ahhh. That explains it. So it's basically a no-go until I get something better than the 9750? Like I said, I can still play it.. it just jars me out of the experience here and there.

edit: Thank you, by the way. Smile

What motherboard do you have? If you have an AM2+ or AM3 board you can always upgrade to phenom II, which is fairly cheap.

The chipset is an AMD 780G. Is that the motherboard spec or the driver? I'm no expert in the least bit.

edit: Duh. Google is my friend. It's an AM2+ socket.

What is a good configuration for this game?I know I have a bad computer only getting 10-13fps any way to get at least 15-20fps?

PC specs
proceser:Amd v160 2.40ghz
2.75gb of RAM

Using dolphin 3.0 is there a better one for this game?I tried downloading dolphin 3.0 win64 off this site I get a 0xc0000007b error
Also does anyone know a action replay code like 2x speed for this?I have on melee so I was just wondering

No, there are no magical codes to run games faster, you need a better processor and entire PC. You can't play games well on something like that.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Well there could probably be hacks made that are designed for one game to make it run pretty fast Big Grin, but we all know that won't happen XD
