I believe this is the cause of the games own ini settings.
In the ini setting, the game is set to run the game with EFB Copies to RAM.

Right-click on the game in Dolphin, then hit properties.
In the window that pops up, hit edit config, which you can find at the bottom-left of the window.

In the ini file that opens, at the bottom, you should see these three lines:
Code:
EFBAccessEnable = True
EFBToTextureEnable = False
EFBCopyEnable = True
Erase them, save the file, and see if it worked.

You're welcome. Enjoy the game.

For any further questions you might have, please take a look at the wiki for the game, where your question might have been answered already.

If not, feel free to ask it here.

Hi guys, I'm hoping that someone can help me with an issue I'm having with this game. The game runs smoothly at 30fps and 100% game speed, but as soon as I enter combat my fps drops to about 20 and my game speed to 70%. I've played with all the settings and I can't seem to fix the problem. I'm also wondering if 30fps is good for my computer set up. According to the wiki a guy played through the game at 50fps with a system weaker than mine. My system specs are:
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80GHz
8GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5670

Read Garteals post at the top of the page, post #2131

Follow his advice then change efb copy to texture.

Didn't make any difference. I'm not having a graphics issue, just a bit of slow down while in combat.

I know. And you're getting that slowdown because efb copy to ram is active. Did you remember to save the .ini file before you closed it then restarted the game?

Yes, I couldn't see any notable difference.

Well as far as I can tell you must have done something wrong. With efb copy to ram those speeds are normal for your hardware. But with efb copy to texture you should see your performance at least double.

There wasn't exactly anywhere for me to go wrong... I took out the 3 lines from the config file, and I changed efb to texture. No improvement.
