I believe the sound was recently broken in this game? (maybe only HLE tho so...)

I didn't experience any broken sound and I'm using 3.0-600 and HLE.

So on 3.0 I can get smooth sound using HLE. LLE oddly enough give me broken sound on 3.0. This setup seems playable, tho seems to run a bit slower.

Thanks for everyone's advice, and if anyone knows of a better setup, please let me know.

You need to provide more info than that. Post a screenshot, write your settings and explain exactly what "it won't let me turn" means.

Hold the R shoulder button and use the control stick to turn.

I'm having a problem. The game keeps giving me a black screen at the second visit to the Forsaken Fortress (after getting the Master Sword). I've tried syncing to audio and running the "fix item hang". I've tried all sorts of different graphic setting combinations. Can someone provide some insight as to why this is happening so I can finish my epic quest? Thanks.

Try with LLE if you still haven't done it
Try with Dolphin 3.0 the official release instead of any 3.0-XXX

Ah, would you please attach a zipped up version of your MemoryCardA raw file? I'm looking for a save game near that spot to try to reproduce this problem. And tell me how to get to the Forsaken Forest from the save game too

First off: hello! I'm new here.

I'm mainly posting because I'm having serious issues with running Wind Waker on my PC. My PC is more or less top-notch so that shouldn't be the issue.

The problem is that whenever I load another area, there's a chance of the screen either going black or white until just about forever with the new area not loading. The music keeps on going.

Here are my current settings:






(I've tried going with RAM here, but it doesn't change anything as far as I noticed)



I've also tried with running DSP LLE instead of DPS HLE but it then starts to lag like there's no tomorrow while the audio also starts bugging.

Any ideas what I can do to make the game playable?
