Why did you put your FrameLimit to 25? Also you should use Dolphin 3.0 (the official release) for this game

Some hints:
Check "OpenMP Texture Decoder" and set the graphics backend to Direct3D9 (Direct3D11 is a little bit slower). And set Framelimit to Auto. ![]() 04-26-2012, 12:42 AM
Well I put the framelimit to 25 because I thought "locked FPS" would be better for performance like it is in many PC games (I don't know how it is about emulation). But now I'll set it to auto if it is better.
Thanks for you advice, will try with the official 3.0 release and the settings you said. 04-26-2012, 04:37 AM
You shouldn't be using fps for limiting at all. Uncheck "limit by fps".

Okay, thanks guys. I tested with Dolphin 3.0, changed FPS (auto, no limit), Direct3D9 and the OpenMP Texture Decoder and apparently it works perfectly, even if I have not actually been further than the title screen (who was more than enough to notice the awful laggy sound when it was not working properly). But I guess if sounds and all works smoothly there, no reason it won't do the same in the game. And that way with LLE I should not get some crazy shit bug in the middle of the game

I you're using LLE I would advise you to set the framelimit to audio throttle instead of auto.

1. Which specific build? The "master" build changes all the time.
2. Settings? 3. Your X1600 is extremely old, have you tried a more recent graphics card?

By "latest" I meant 600, I used the build by Lectrode, since my own don't perform that well^^ 2. Default settings, except higher Internal Resolution, Fullscreen (+hide mouse cursor). I tried toggling EFB copies and the like, but only while playing, so I can't say for sure if some of it might have fixed it if I restarted with those settings. 3. oops, gotta update my sig. I recently bought a new laptop, it's not that great but at least a bit better than my old PC. The gpu is a "Geforce GT 630M". 05-01-2012, 12:05 PM
