It's on the wiki. Also if you read this thread a few pages back (191 I think) there are detailed instructions of people who have used it. I just can't seem to use it. Also - I have bootcamp, but I work in OS X and don't like rebooting when I want to have some fun. It's a mild annoyance and this Mac is luckily powerful enough to run WW at 1080p with 4xAA and no frame drops. 03-01-2012, 11:52 PM

OK thanks for the tip, haven't been very Dolphin active for a while now and things tend to happen fast here these days with fixes and what not. But I'm starting to get the itch and might be getting back in playing some GC and Wii games real soon. 03-02-2012, 12:53 AM

People had already been experiencing the issue so I didn't think it would matter. Is this a more recent bug? 03-02-2012, 07:01 AM
this will be my first post here. i am very new to Gamecube Emulation and really wanna play Wind Waker again. I have tried using some of the builds on the wiki that say they run smooth and i have still been getting bad chop at the title screen and beginning of the game. same goes for the latest build. what is the best build and setting to be used? sorry if that's been asked before, this is a pretty big thread.

You should visit my old thread for Dolphin 3.0 http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=19813 There you will find some useful information. 03-02-2012, 08:50 AM

Oh OK. Well you got quite a powerful laptop there, a game like Wind Waker shouldn't be a real problem as far as I can tell. Which version of Dolphin are you using now? When I wrote all that I used the official Dolphin 3.0 x64 release. If you're using something newer it could make it slower due to changes made in the code. I know for me 3.0 have been a godsend so far. |
