Just keep trying, eventually it will work. There are some nasty cutscenes that are very long like that one that will usually crash. I've managed to get through them by using LLE. It appears to fix the freezing issues.

Enable Audio Throttle can sometimes be enough

I started off with the 64-bit version and it would freeze after Link's sister gets kidnapped by the bird. I switched over to 32-bit after reading that it fixes the problem, and I got all the way to The Deku Tree without it crashing. It now seems to freeze every time after the cut-scene where you get the pearl and the seed people fly away.

Disabling and re-enabling audio in the DSP settings also seems to fix this problem but u have to disable the audio before the cutscene and after it freezes you go to the DSP and re-enable the audio and the game starts working again

I have a question about the fire effect. I am using Dolphin 3.0. I am at the Dragon Roost and it is really bad, almost unplayable. I have read a lot and know that there is currently no fix. My question is, the Dolphin wiki page for the game says that by checking "EFB Copies - Disable" the effect (and most other effects) can simply be disabled. However checking this option does not disable the effect for me. I'm assuming that part of the wiki is simply old, is there an older build of Dolphin that will allow me to disable the effect?

Thanks to anyone who answers. I've set it before but thanks to the Dolphin devs - playing this game in 1080p widescreen is just incredible. And the fact that I can play Xenoblade (waiting on my import) day one in emulator, and have it look even better, is simply crazy for an emulator.

Check my settings also disable widescreenhack in that dungeon it will get things worst
