hi everyone,
i was playing wind waker on dolphin r7716M that when i wanted to enter the cave in hyrule, it just faded to black and no matter how much i waited it didn't load the area. i tried again several times with different settings(different renderers and graphics and sound options) and also on earlier builds but it still has the same issue. the thing is i was first playing it on dolphin 2.0 for a long time until yesterday when suddenly it crashed and it just gave me cryptic errors(like unknown installation directory and unable to fined dsp and...) every time i tried to boot it up again after that.then i downloaded version 3.0 but it was even worse than 2 because the program just doesn't come up at all ! so i tried r7716M which didn't have much of a problem until this last area!
if anyone knows anything about the issue i greatly appreciate it. it just sucks to be stuck on the last level before beating ganondorf's ass! Sad : -/

Black screens in most cases are fixed by setting internal resolution to auto in the Enhancements tab of the Graphics settings.

No, I have the C Stick set to my right analog stick on my Saitek Cyborg Rumble P3600

Try another game to see if the c-stick is recognized. Can I see your GCPad settings?

Oh, it worked after I arranged the C Stick back to the way the game normally has it, plus I think rebooting Dolphin helped too, because sometimes if I play a while, that will happen. But just in case, this time I saved just before the cutscene for Dragon Roost Island started, so I didn't have to go all the way back to Windfall Island in case something did happen. It also may have been because I was losing focus last night with getting late and all.

Edit: Reason I swapped directions on the C Stick was Id rather have left be left and right be right with the camera

OK, I've encountered a graphics issue with this game. Smoke's translucency is bugged.

It makes the part in the pirate ship where you have to swing from torch to torch REALLY hard, because sometimes it will look like there are two links or two torches. It's on a timer, so you can't take the time to figure out what torch/link is the real one.

Sad

Hey everyone. To me the sound is just fine. The problem that I am running into is the graphics are half see through and I see shadows of other things in the game that shouldn't be there, for example when I walk I see my hearts casting a shadow in the ground. And it froze when I tried to kill a monster thingy when I first went into the forest. I have a great graphics card and a really good motherboard and processor. I am unsure of how to fix this.

What settings are you using, what revision and what are your specs?

Also, for the random crashes after cutscenes and such, if you are using Windows 7 64 bit, for some odd reason, the 32 bit build works better. I went from the 64 bit to the 32 bit build and have not had a single crash and I am up to the boss in Forbidden Forest. Yes I have the fire problem but insofar as I have seen, that is really unsolvable, as I have it in both DX9 and OpenGL settings, I have not tried DX11 because I have some programs (related to PC games) that will not run in anything later then DX9.0c

I'm using the 32-bit version of Dolphin 3.0 on Windows 7 64-bit, and I can confirm that it does not solve the freezing after cut-scenes.

I started off with the 64-bit version and it would freeze after Link's sister gets kidnapped by the bird. I switched over to 32-bit after reading that it fixes the problem, and I got all the way to The Deku Tree without it crashing. It now seems to freeze every time after the cut-scene where you get the pearl and the seed people fly away.
