There are also some plastic laptop cooling pads you can buy if lifting up the laptop with books doesn't work.

Hello, i'm new to the forums, kind of a noob (have used emulators before) wanted to run wind waker in higher resolution. but it lags no matter what resolution i pick, and i think the pc's fast enough to run it in higher resolution (1080) i just need the correct settings for it (using r7671)

installed ram: 2.00 GB
AMD Phenom™ 9600 Quad-Core Processor 2.30 GHz
Windows 7 Professional
Nvidia Geforce8800 GTX
Nvidia Driver Version: 266.58

I'd really appreciate whoever can help me :3

Use default setting but disable Audio Throttle. First run in Native def and no Anti-Aliasing and make sure it runs fullspeed. Then increase graphics (raise internal resolution and anti-aliasing) to your liking and make sure the game stays fullspeed. It's that simple.

Hi, I'm new here. this seems to be a good game but I got a problem. When I get on the boat at the beginning, and do the puzzle where you jump on the button and you have a minute to jump and swing to the other side of the room ( jump on a platform then swing on the ropes to the next platform). My problem is that I can't get on that button. I tilt the left stick up towards the big button on the floor, but link (or whatever) doesn't jump on the button he just moves to and against it. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Sounds like a bad dump. Redump it.

Ok guys, I'm having a major problem. I'm running the latest version of dolphin emulator with the default settings. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525, intel pentium dual core, windows vista home basic. My graphics card is the laptop intergrated intel chipset series.

I know my computer isn't exactly the BEST for games but I still find it hard to believe that Zelda can really run THAT slowly on my computer. According to most other posts Zelda runs between 18 and 19 FPS normally and 30 FPS if it's perfect right? Well on my computer it runs at a shocking 4 or 5 frames per second. I've done everything can think of. Disabled fog
, disabled efb copies, jlt recompiler, idle skipping, dual core, DSP hle emulation, skip EFB access from CPU, fast mipmaps, open cl decoder yada yada yada.

But the HIGHEST it reaches it 9 FPS. it's really really hard to play. Every button I press I have to way like a full 2 seconds for it to load and don't get me started on cutscenes I'm literally praying for death by the time they're over. Then if I accidentally forget to enable fix item hang before a cutscene I have to sit through it twice. it's pure torture especially since this is my favorite game. Can anyone help me?

I don't find it that hard to believe. One, it's a dual core with awful integrated graphics, a bad start. Two, it's a laptop meaning you can basically slice the power of it in half when comparing it to a desktop. Emulation requires greatly more power than the original systems or when comparing to similar looking pc games.

Turn down Internal Resolution to .5 or .75. That will help.
P.S. I just turned my Inspiron 1525 into a Hackintosh Smile

Hey guys,

I have recently been using Dolphin and playing Zelda Wind Waker, I have encounted ZERO problems, until reaching the graphic effects of the heat within the Volcano

I have uploaded 3 images, 1 of which is on the island which shows how perfect my graphics / system is, works with no issues

Then there are two images of the cut / tear affect from the heat within the Volcano

I have adjusted and changed EVERY OPTION available, from DX11, to DX9, to Open GL, changed and unticked everything, can't seem to get it to work properly.

Any suggestions?

Here are the images...
