Most everything is working for me using svn 6285 for OSX. Having one small issue: when playing WW, the characters have funny kinds of illumination on them - it looks almost splotchy. See attached screenshots. I am using the default, out of the box options. Any ideas? I apologize in advance if this has already been asked and answered; I did search the previous posts but I didn't find anything.

Im having exatly the same problem! And looks like I have the same build. A macbook pro core i7, 4gb ddr3, geforce gt 330m 512 mb.
I hope this got fixed in new versions.

It seams whoever has their games working just won't bothered to help others. I have no idea what else to do. A lot of people have problems, especially this gray screen thingy, yet at the same time a lot of people are playing perfectly .. so sad Sad

People generally don't respond when they don't know a solution. In my case, I have never run into the error, so I have no idea how to fix it, and so, no comment. Just because people haven't commented doesn't mean they aren't willing to help. They just, don't know how, so they stay quiet hoping someone else who does know will come in and help you.

But, since you've been ignored for a while, I'll try to help as much as I can. Now, I've never ran into the problem you have described, so all I can think of is to try to narrow it down. First would be to take dolphin out of the equation, test different revisions, different GPU backends, and different settings. Every possible combination. If you can't fix it in dolphin, then it is likely something outside of dolphin, something on your machine. Update your drivers and directX. If it is still doing it after all that, then, I don't know, it works great for tons of people...

Thank you for that mate. I know that people won't help if they don't know the solution, obviously, but I asked for their setting builds, revision , etc. That would really help me. If a game works for you, it would be really awesome to tell me your specs and everything so I can try that too. Smile

That's wrong but like Major said the solution isn't always known... for your prob did you use other revisions? it could work on older ones

Not true. Like LordVador said we don't know a lot of the reasons for crashes. They seem to happen on every revision, and different settings. LLE sometimes makes a difference, so does Fix item hang. You just need to keep trying a fiddling, and don't load from savestates.

Yes, I agree with all of you guys and I understand that. But I'm saying that whoever has their game working could they please tell which revision and what setting setup are they using? That way I can try it myself and get it to work.
So does anyone mind telling please?

Thank you

I use 3.0. Default settings really should be fine, Audio Throttle off. If you can use LLE do, it may prevent some crashes.

Again, I'm not 7 hours in, I'm 20 minutes in, so it doesn't matter if I have it working if you've already passed me. It's not other users fault if they don't get errors. If you want my revision + settings, the video of the game and all that info is on youtube, click my signature below. But again, I've played 20 minutes, I don't know what the game will do halfway in.

Use the freaking wiki, it has tons of info:
