ok, thanks because I tried the game with those settings and it works pretty well for me except for random crashes at end of cutscenes. I'm just saving very often. it has minor sound problems now it seem playable now. i was using openGL rendering before, it seemed to be more smooth, but the direct3d seems to have less problems. the heat effect is broken, but it's just minor issue by now... amazing game

repost my specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550(2.83Ghz)
Asus P5Q-E
Radeon HD4850 512MB Sapphire
Corsair TWIN2X kit 2x2GB PC8500 1066Mhz DHX
winxp 32 bit

Sorry for offtopic, but "winxp 32 bit" is bad idea for you, iirc you lose not only half a gig of RAM, but also the "dual channel" mode.
And to back to the point: try build 7018, i use it, and seems it very stable.

thanks for the info, i knew about the quantity of ram not about the dual channel. it's that MSvista sucks and i didn't want it. win7 will be on my pc very soon.

about the build, can I take my savings (ingame virtual memcard) from my actual version to the older?

You have internal resolution set to 4x?!?!? Well that would be why.

WW has to look pixelated to get full speed?

You shouldn't need a 4x scale unless your resolution is higher than 1920 x 1200. An 8800GT is not sufficient for a scale that high. It should be enough to handle a 3x scale without AA though, as long as you're using the d3d9 plugin. 3x Scale is sufficient for resolutions up to 1920 x 1200.

It's not about MSVista or Xp or even Seven, you just need the 64 bit OS, and your RAM will be happy. Big Grin
About the saves: yes, you can transfer your saves via moving the memory card folder(path: "\dolphin_folder\User\GC")

It depends of your system sometimes you gotta make compromises...

OK I see. So it lags because of my graphics card?
