Attempt not to use that patch, if you can. It was created before audio was emulated in the Zelda games and the game would wait for an audio clip to be played. This patch would keep the game going without that cue. Audio in Zelda was implemented a long time ago, so the patch is outdated. I'm surprised you didn't get a crash at the Deku tree though.

Yes, that's correct, but the positive side is that this patch still helping with "permanent black screens"(and maybe other things).

I haven't said that. I've got 3 or 4 crashes(it was stabbed me in different places) in forest, before i could play it through.=)

I'm sorry to hear that.

I really wish there was some magical tip or information I could share that made the crashes go away.
But we're all sitting on different setups, computers etc. and the things that seem to work for me sadly do not work for others.

(ok that was such an easy joke)

I've been playing through the entire game with r7111, with occasional black/grey freezes (happened about 3 or 4 times throughout the game when there was some Ganon appearance but never twice in the same place in a row, I just seem to run into issues at the very end with the final dungeon. I had 3 crashes in a row entering Ganon's tower with multiple versions, crashed when beating the "snake" Ganon, and now it's crashing in the final cinematic.
Is Ganon's evil magic reaching out of the computer of what ? Smile
