Use the latest releases, they work good. Set your resolution in Fullscreen resolution and set the suggested configurations that you can find in wiki here http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Wind_Waker
My PC: 3570K  @ 4.1 GHz, 8Gb DDR3 1600, GTX980, Win7 x64.

Can you be a bit more specific, please?Which revision runs this game the best and what settings for my system, exactly?

The explanations are so conflicting and I've already read the wiki and almost all 133 pages of this thread and still very confused.Huh

help!

Edit:just found the noob friendly builds post http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=13772 but, I still need help with the settings specific to WW

Every game specific setting you need is listed on the wiki. And every known problem that you might run into that can be fixed is listed on the wiki. I know this because I wrote most of it (and constantly update it since people insist on f**king it up).

So, I've gotten Wind Waker to work pretty well for the most part. However, I'm only hearing a few sounds, such as the roll sound and the footsteps. No background music is ever played, and the vast majority of sound effects can't be heard. I've tried using both HLE and DSP-LLE, and I get the same result regardless. I'm using the latest official version of Dolphin (r7608 x64).

Is this to be expected, or is there any way I can work around this? Sorry if it has already been stated in this thread, but it's over 130 pages, so...

These are the settings I'm using:
