Getting a new bug in the Tower of Gods. I managed to get past the door and its freezing (No clue how but I tried later and it worked) but now I cannot climb out of the water. My only way from water to ledge is by climbing on a box as the water rises, or using the deku leaf to float from my boat to the ledge.

Hello there. I am running Wind Waker on my laptop and it runs quite good, sometimes 100% fullsped, sometimes near it, at 1080p. But I would like to know what is the revision that runs this game fastest right now. Here are the laptop´s specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT 512 MB 4 GB RAM Windows 7 64 Bits I get around 80-100% most of the time. But some specifict parts run significantly slowler, and it is annoying. 05-01-2011, 12:12 AM
Hey,
Sorry to repost but i've tried to troubleshoot and i cant help it all. I've ran into a problem of where right after i step into the portal after defeating Goh Dan in the Tower of Gods my game goes grey and stalls but at 30 fps and 50 VPS. Also my last save is right before the last pearl but if need be i will redo the temple aslong as it will work. Also, if anyone has a save file from right after the Tower Of Gods, it will be much appreciated. 05-01-2011, 01:07 AM
Using a pre-R7000 build will hopefully fix the freezing issues.

I've tried almost everything, like the bloom hack, etc. Any help given would be greatly appreciated. I'm having this issue after the FIRST trip to the Forsaken Fortress, right at the end of the cutscene where you meet the King of Red Lions. Can't figure out how to fix it. I think I read it involved audio encoding, but the last place you can save is pretty far back, and the save state crashes if you load it with a different DSP. Suggestions? 05-02-2011, 02:45 AM
Alright, I found a quick workaround. When I find a point like that that won't move on, I save state just before it, go disable audio, then start the game again, load state, get past it, and then save, re-enable audio etc.

Save a state (use a different one than you did outside the door, incase it get buggy) then quit the game, and disable the 'Fix Item Hang' patch. 05-04-2011, 05:24 AM
Fix Item Hang is deprecated. It was needed because Dolphin used to have no sound support for Zelda, and the game would wait for a certain sound to happen. Since it never happened, it would hang. Zelda now has sound, so the patch is useless.
Try a much older revision, pre-r7000. A lot of people think there's a sweet spot where Dolphin worked best for Zelda. The issue seems to have appeared since ca. r6900. Also, if you keep trying, it will randomly work without anything changing.
