Hi Clownseuche!

I tried what you said by renaming the saves - but it didnt do the job :-(

Would be great to have a solution, if not I would have to start over again and I dont want to do this, since this could just happen again any time.

Did you copy the savegames via the ingame menu? Or did you do it in windows?

Under windows - what do you mean by copying them with the ingame menu? i only see the possibility of saving them to another slot.

In game there's a button called 'copy' there you can copy your savegame to an another slot.
Copy your first game to an new slot and load your game from there. This worked for me a couple of times.

Let's just rule out the simplest explanation here: An in-game save (using save points or whatever from within the game) is not a save-state (in Dolphin, Emulation > Save state). Using save-states too much without a fresh reboot of the game may lead to corruption, and prevent you from being able to save in-game. Furthermore, save-states cannot be expected to be compatible between revisions of Dolphin---or functional at all. The memory card files (in-game saves), however, are compatible with even the oldest revisions of Dolphin.

The item hang fix was only needed until Dolphin implemented HLE audio for Dolphin. (The game would wait for a sound, which would hang because the sound never happened.)

What version of the game are you using?

game version is US

that save state description makes sense, and I did use them pretty regularly out of habit

I'll start over and use the savestates less

thanks for the post

edit: i got back to the same door and I was able to get through, so savestates without frequent reboots screwed me up then

However, it helped me once with getting through the passage with the deku tree... i really tried it some times so I doubt it has been coincitental. But well...

It would have been cool to have a warning about save states beforehand, I am still so used of using them from znes...

My game version is EU.

Does somebody have a memory card savestate before the Deku-Episode?

@Clownseuche:
Ah, I know what you mean now. Unfortunately this doesnt help me, because I am not referring to the ingame save states. But thank you anyway.

So I get 24 FPS on this game outside, and when I'm in an indoor location it's normal (30 FPS).

Specs:

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ (2.6 GHz)
RAM: 2GB (plan on upgrading this soon)
Video Card: nVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
Operating System (used for Dolphin): Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Is it just my processor and RAM that's causing my problem? Microsoft rates my computer as a 5.5 under the Windows Experience Index (RAM being 5.5 and processor being 5.6).

Edit: Oh, I guess it would help to list what revision I'm using... r7439.
