Im wondering why are you using 7379? its all buggy.
Go back to SVN r7236 or R7357 both run both the zelda games perfectly well for me they do.
Have WW locked at a nice 35fps never goes down from there and TP locked at 33 also never goes down even in hyrule field.

I am a noob at dolphin. i got windwalker working up to the point were you start the game (little sister looking for you) and it crashed. i have played around with settings but still cant get it working. my specs are:
Duel core AMD opteron
Processor 175
2.20GHz, 2.00 GB Ram

Radon X800 gto

My DX is up to date and i have the c++ thinging installed as well

Please help

Probably a broken revision, try another one or try the official 2.0 release.
The 2.0 release might nearly be a year old but I have completed this game with it.

i have tryed on several different revs and on the 2.0 release but it still crashes before the game even starts.. Sad

are there spacific settings that i need to use for dolphin to get the game running?

Which graphics plugins have you tried? Your video card is probably the culprit.

i have tryed dx9 and dx11 and opengl

at this point it wont even open the game it gives me an error is im not in opengl mode and it says that it encountered a problem and had to shut down if i am

I'm willing to bet it has to do with ati's shitty drivers for older cards like that one.

I see there are issues with the pictobox, but I can't find any mention about this problem. The swap modes button is not working and as such I can't delete pictures. Is there a workaround for this?

Rev 7095 and my settings can be found in this post, along with the changes from NaturalViolence from the post below it.

R6970 build by Lectrode works perfectly fine on my machine. Minor issues when you're in a room with lava, slight FPS drops (from solid 30 to ~25) in areas (mainly Windfall Island), but this game is perfectly playable! (Disabling Fog really made the game playable for my machine!)

Really? It's mentioned several dozen times in this thread alone. And hundreds of times in other threads throughout the forums.

Set efb copy to ram and turn off the cache.
