[GC] The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

so my game keeps freezing after i talk with the deku tree for the first time ( right after he sprouts the leaf). the screen goes black and my Speed shoots up to about 140% and the game never continues. has anyone else had this issue or is it possible its my version of the game?

Either read the thread or use the search form in the bottom right corner of the forum and look for WW crashing or WW blackscreen. I am not explaining this again when I have already answered it at least a dozen times.

Hi guyz,i have seeing here ppl with problem with the photo quest,but i have the problem with the first photo,lenzo dont accept her ;( and one question,the high resolution pack doenst work anymore?cuz i try put on right directory but dolphin dont load it thx.

did you make sure the "load hi-res textures" box was checked?

not been on here in two years lol

but i built my own pc and its run every GC game ive thrown at it so far, especially WW and it plays 100%, although when its clearing the code cache sometimes it'll hang for a few seconds then resume, happens on all video plugins

You have the chrome camera?, if not u must get it....

Hey, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on getting the hi-res textures to work. I've been reading and trying things already mentioned in this thread for hours and still can't get them to load. I'm using version 7321. I'm thinking maybe I should try an older version but which one? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I apologize if this is already covered here but I haven't come across it. Thanks.

Edit: I downloaded a ton of old builds until I found the newest one that worked which was 7059.

I have Wind Waker running well under OS X, however In several games including this one I see this issue:



strange patchy textures on character models. Does anyone know what causes this/how to fix it? It's very hard to ignore

As far as settings i've tried every combination i could one at a time and many together, but so far none have made any difference. I have also tried several different builds, both recent and old.

Sorry if i've missed anything important out.
