Well I downloaded some unpatched build and atleast I got through that cutscene. The audio desync also wasn't nearly as bad as the last time I tried playing this some months ago. Thanks NaturalViolence for your input.

What do you mean by "negative"? Do you mean lower performance, less accuracy, bugs, or all of the above?
If you can give me a complete list of every single option in dolphin right now I'll tell you which ones need to be set to what, and why.

Turn on lock threads to cores
Turn on use fps for limiting Set the framelimit to 30 Turn off use panic handlers I personally like to start games in fullscreen, but maybe you multitask so that's up to you Set the audio backend to xaudio2 Turn off audio throttle Turn on v-sync Turn off emulate format changes Set efb scale to fractional You now have the perfect settings for this game.

You're SO beautiful NaturalViolence. Was having a lot of problems but your setup gave me just what I needed. I guess I wasn't playing around with the correct settings. I had a few problems afterwards as well with display drivers crashing but after updating. Smooth as scotch

Also remember to use jitil instead of jit if you're on a 32 bit system. I play this game with a 2x efb scale + 4xSSAA but I wasn't sure if he had a video card capable of handling that so I didn't recommend it. I would also stay the hell away from the absolute latest revisions. 6970 is a stable revision to use for this game.

hey guys im running into a graphical problem in the game. im not sure what to do. id appreciate the help. Basically the heat ripple effect is seriously messed up.
