i have r6882, and the game works just perfect with everything,
but i am now in Forest Haven, i have to pick the deku leaf from the deku tree's crown, but if i load it, the FPS goes to 0 and it won't load, but you hear the music 01-29-2011, 03:27 AM
Right click the game and click game properties. Go to the patches tab. Check the box next to "fix item hang". This will fix the crash but cause audio issues. So get through that spot with that patch turned on, then save, close the game, turn the patch off, restart the game and load your save. Only use the patch when you encounter a crash like that.

Hi!
I have really tried everything, Tried to put everything blank, tried to go on fractional instead of integral, tried texture, Ram, disabling lighting, fog, going on 640x480, enabling lock to core, frame limit on/off/auto, Tp/Crusade hack, putting the game as Ugly as I could to get a speed boost, I really tried a lot of stuff, but I get the exact same frame rate at Outset island/Windfall. There is also something kinda weird. If I don't open Dolphin for like 20 mins and just open it later and directly play on load save state, I get a nice solid 30fps anywhere like at Windfall or Outset and even Fortress, but it last only 5 sec, sometimes a bit more, but then, it slowdown little by little until I get back to 16~20 fps. What could possibly cause that? I really want to play Wind Waker! I've been up to Dragon Roost Island with even 15~20 fps and of course I always get 30 fps indoors. The thing is, with my PC spec, I'm sure I should get 30 fps almost everywhere because I saw people with spec lower then mine having 30 fps almost everywhere. What could it possibly be? I beg you for help  Thanks a lot! and you guys are amazing for getting the games working, many thanks to the Dolphin Team!

Quote:What could possibly cause that? Overheating. Check your cpu and gpu temps. It would also help if you added your system specs and OS to your forum signature so I don't have to ask you/hunt them down everytime. Listing your full dolphin configuration/settings here would also be helpful.

My pc spec is: Intel Core2Duo E7400 2.80Ghz 2Gb DDR2 GeForce 8600GTS WinXp 32Bits For my Dolphin settings, this is how it looks like, but like I said, I tried turning on/off almost every single thing and usually I left EFB copy empty. Thanks a tons for helping me! ^^ 01-29-2011, 02:45 PM

Download and run coretemp while running dolphin for 15 minutes and tell me how high your temps are getting.
Also set efb copy to texture. Check "use fps for limiting", set the framelimit to 30, and turn off audio throttle. Quote:Intel Core2Duo E7400 2.80Ghz Add this to your signature so nobody has to ask you for it.

OMG OMG OMG THANKS!!! I cheked my temp and it was WAYYY too high, I opened up my computer and noticed my fan wasn't well installed
Now Im running FULL 30Fps EVERYWHERE, no slowdowns at Windfalls, got pass Dragon Roost Island and now im near the boss at Deku Temple!!! MANY MANY MANY THANKS TO YOU!!!Arigato!!!!!
