Simply put d3d9 is the master-race of plugins for dolphin. Isn't that right neobrain?


It also seems that image quality is a little worse in the dx11 plugin @ Wind Waker, but now when i go through dragon roost dungeon, the fps is always 100% whereas it dips to 80% with the dx9 plugin.

what settings in dx9 would you use wind waker for best fps and quality?

in my pc i use fractional+4xaa, enable to texture, also i can enable without problems pixel light and depth, force trilineal, i mantain full speed always 99% of time
intel 3570k@4.4ghz, amd 270x, 8gb 1600, win10 x64, x360 pad, raid0 crucial m4 ssd 64gb, gigabyte z77x-ud3h, hyper212+

Obviously, you may not enable SSAA/MSAA in D3D9/11 for a fair comparision btw..

ok here is how the game running for me in a batte scene on DX9, massive slowdowns. SSAA = 4X AF = 8X

Here is the same scene in DX11, no slowdowns. AF = 16 x AA = 8 samples

ah enabling fractional in the dx9 plugin caused a speed boost. Does that cause any glitches? Still not at fullspeed as in dx11 though.
