Today I was having some freezing on cut-scenes and I've disabled LLE on Thread and decompressed my ISO as I didn't know witch was causing issues. Seems to work just fine now. So what was the problem? Also the game has audio stuttering after about 1 hour of playing. I've tried HLE and sometimes music doesn't play on cut-scenes so I'm guessing LLE is still the better choice? Help me out guys! Thanks.

The audio stuttering with LLE is a known issue we are looking into. You can try 3.0 with LLE and see if that helps although I had a weird issue where the boat would randomly appear in the middle of the sea and not on the island I was on. This issue did not happen with 3.5, but it has the audio issue. You have to choose the lesser of 2 evils.

I disagree with LLE performance being better for this game.

This game is basically flawless on HLE 3.5 (stable.)

If I recall correctly, Zelda GC titles are just glitchy in general when running LLE.

What build of dolphin are you using?
CPU: AMD X6 1090T 3.2ghz (stock speed)
GPU: Nvidia GPU 580GTX 1.5GB stock/ 460gtx 1GB secondary (physx only)

3.5-158. Sound only gets glitchy after about 1 hour of playtime. Other than that, the game is 99.9% stable with LLE

Yeah, the glitchy sound is being looked into. also generally speaking LLE tends to be much more processor intensive so "performance" tends to be lower in LLE vs HLE

I still prefer LLE because HLE has item hang and the sound cuts out and sometimes the sounds don't sound liek they are meant to be heard. + I have a beast processor so LLE is fine for me Big Grin

Ahh, I see... yea, I guess it's just something we will have to deal with for now.

Good-news is, soon we should not have to worry about which is better, with Delroth + Dev's working on that New AX HLE...

Once they are done with that, they will eventually tackle Zelda Ucode and surely eliminate the need for LLE!

Still nothing happening here. Am I supposed to enable the AR code at the same time as the patch?
Also your AR code begins with 00. The patch begins with 80. Not sure if this is relevant or not.

Update: the patch also seems to be corrupting my memorycard. As soon as I start the game with the patch activated, it asks me if I want to create a new savefile and my old save is gone. This doesn't happen with other patches.
Just the patch. I'm not sure about the memory card issue though, but I've heard of it happening before. If it matters, the patch is for the NTSC-U version.

I see. I dont have that version. I was trying the patch with the PAL version.

About that widescreenhack: The reason I wanted to try it, is because of a graphic error which occurs using the widescreenhack implemented in dolphin. So when the hack is active and you got true 16:9, graphics on the left and right sides of the screen cut out. For example all npc's but also most grass and trees depending on which distance they are.
So when you stand still and slowly move the camera, these graphics dissappear on the sides as soon as they get over the 4:3 edge.

So I was wondering if this other hack of which you said was smoother prevents that error? If so, I might be switching to the NTSC-U version even though I would miss the german dialogues.

Or maybe anyone knows how to prevent this error with some specific graphical settings? I think I tryed all though but I'm not an expert yet.

So I just tryed out the patch on the NTSC Version and it works just perfectly! That graphic error btw, is it that what you call pop-ins?

Is there any way to get this to work on the PAL Version? It would be so great... How do you find the right values for a PAL patch?
