anyone else have a problem with the telescope zooming all by itself and getting stuck at 9x? ive mapped it correctly to the kb, an xbox controller, and a ps3 controller, and nothing seems to work. ive messed with the radius and dead zone as well, increasing/decreasing etc, and as soon as the telescope is selected, it automatically goes up to 9x zoom. when i try to zoom out, it toggles to 8x for a second, then goes right back to 9x. any ideas? im stuck trying to get this to work for my 11yo son. thanks, love this emulator and all the hard work that has gone into it

You may wanna check your controls and make sure the deadzone is big enough on the cstick maybe if you haven't? I literally can't imagine anything else going wrong.

Can anybody get the picto box quests to work with any of the latest builds? I'm using 4.0-5893 right now and I have unchecked "Disable Destination Alpha" and "Store EFB copies to texture only" since there is no EFB to RAM box in the newer builds. I can't get Lenzo to accept my Pictures of the guy putting the letter in the mailbox. Is this broken in the latest versions?

It will show you the picture 2 times after taking, if it's shown black once, it's broken, even if it displays correctly in your inventory. 03-20-2015, 05:32 AM

Like I said, there is no EFB to RAM setting in the latest builds. There is a "Store EFB to txture only" option that I have unchecked. I can take Pictures and it shows correctly but Lenzo won't accept them. I have watched youtube videos on how the pcture should look so I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right. I'd appreciate if someone could try this with a new build. 03-24-2015, 12:53 AM
Hi!
I´m using the version 4.0-5915 and tried to use the widescreen AR codes (PAL), but only one of them is working (FM7X-QJAM-48NGB). The rendering seems to be okay and I´m wondering if only one of these codes is needed. Does anyone know what the second one (KNVC-VY59-WXF91) is for? Thx! I played around with the settings to get the third picture working and get better performance at 4x resolution with sweetfx and what i found is: The Game is hard set to EFB to RAM in Game ini (the one in \Sys\GameSettings), The check box is now called "Store EFB Copies to Texture only"as far as i know unticking it should act the same way as EFB to RAM did but it won't do anything without deleting the entry's in the Game ini first. Try to delete them and make sure it's unchecked in the Graphics configuration "Skip EFB Access" should also be unchecked now run the game windowed and take the pictures. For a large Speedboost (more then doubled the uncapped fps on my laptop) delete the EFB entry's from the game ini and enable "Skip EFP Access" and "Store EFB Copies to Texture only" in the Graphics configuration, only do this after taking the 3 pictures and don't ever use the Picto box again without disabling those 2 check boxes first or the emulator will crash, Fast Depth Calculation also gives a nice speed boost but the waves will start flickering from certain camera angles. 04-21-2015, 02:09 AM

So to get the picto box working, you don't need to delete this from the game.ini. If the game gets faster by enabling "Skip EFB Access", it is likely that is used for something and you should keep it in mind if something doesn't work, like the picto box. Last but not least, maybe fast depth, per pixel lightning and/or AA affect whether a picture is accepted or not, because those could change how the image looks, even if it's just minimal.
I have the PAL version of Wind Waker, but I can't play it in 60Hz mode. The game doesn't show the selector menu, even when I hold B at the start.
I ripped a GameCube Bios and run it in Dolphin, but still doesn't appear. 05-24-2015, 05:19 AM
