Regarding the issue in the code pages:
"Issue 5698: LoZ: WInd Waker: blackscreen after final cutscene - no Second Quest" - http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/iss...il?id=5698 I just wanted to say I played till the very end after the final cutscene using my 100% complete save file with 3.0-815 x64 downloaded from the official source and everything was smooth sailing and it went back to the title screen as usual after completing the game. The issue was most probably caused by that he or she was using a dirty version, in this case 3.0-801 dirty which isn't recommended. Anyone else that can confirm that this works perfectly fine? I'm using DSP LLE and EFB Copy to RAM BTW as always.
Well you and me (and other guys) got past the final cutscene without issue before so this report seems unjustified.
Moreover either he has never tried other builds, either his dump has never worked with other builds if you read what he wrote here:

Yeah you're probably right. This have always worked so I don't see why it should stop working now all of a sudden.
I switched to 3.0-815 today so that's gonna be my base until 4.0 comes out. Compared to 3.0, 3.0-815 is way more awesome in every aspect there is so I'm glad I kicked out 3.0 Haven't had a single trouble yet and this game works just beautifully as ever.
Yeah I heard a lot about very latest builds but I still haven't tried one of them. I will. To update the Wiki and game threads for example

Yeah it's definitely time to ditch 3.0 my friend, I highly recommend it sooner rather then later.
BTW I added my test results a few minutes ago here for this game with 3.0-815, I will probably add more test results the following days for my other games but it's like a walk in the park and besides I don't say no playing more of these babies 11-24-2012, 03:23 PM
after i get on the dragon boat and ask to get a "sail".the screen just went black and no respond.is that ISO prob or this problem not fixed yet?thanks
Dolphin settings? A lot of black screens in this game can be solved using LLE audio. You can find out more on getting LLE audio set up in this thread. Alternatively, you can try setting the Framelimit to Auto or 60 as the wiki suggests.
If it's a problem with your ISO, use a free tool to generate an MD5 hash for your game (google around for one). Once you have the MD5 hash, compare that to verified dumps from website like Redump.org or GameTDB. If your hash matches up with theirs, your ISO is ok. If not, you should dump your game again until they do match. 11-24-2012, 04:34 PM
thanks.not sure it work or not since when i try to load state the program will force closed(should have use the in game save >.<) .but i do realize is a little bit lag using this LLE.frame drop to 23-24fps.sigh

This is due to the different approaches HLE and LLE take in order to emulate the sound. Also, it's inadvisable to rely on save states to record your progress in a game. Save states have gotten better in recent revisions, but they're not perfect, and sooner or later you may encounter problems with saving or loading. Use in-game saves to record your progress; use save states as momentary "snapshots", e.g. dealing with tricky jumps, puzzles, or boss battles. About the lag, there are some things you can do to help. Right click this game in Dolphin, go to Properties and hit the Edit Config button. It'll open up the .ini configuration file for this game. Dolphin loads this every time you load WW, and it will override your default settings. Look at the bottom part for the "[Video Hacks]" section, and edit it to look like the following: Code: [Video_Hacks] This sets EFB Copies to Texture (the default is EFB Copies -> RAM), and it should make the game a bit less demanding on your hardware. Also, be sure to enable LLE on Thread in your Audio settings. This will let Dolphin use a third core on your system, and it should result in some speed-up. The only other thing you can do after that point would be overclocking your CPU. |
