Depends. What games are you talking about? Some games aren't at all demanding, so LLE might not be much of an extra burden. Look at the Dolphin Wiki and see what sort of specs people generally run a game on. The rule of thumb is, if you can consistently get full-speed with HLE (e.g. no/rare drops), you ought to be set for LLE.
Also, if you want the best performance (i.e. not necessarily the most accurate), use LLE only when HLE isn't cutting it. HLE can handle a lot of cases on its own, so I reserve LLE for when HLE just can't get it right.

I would think that LOZ WW and TP would be the most power consuming games that I want to play, so hopefully I can use LLE audio without any problems.
Oh and I don't plan to use Dolphin's graphic enhancer abilities at all. I just want the games to look like they should.
Yeah, as of 3.0-415, skid made a commit that reduces the CPU usage for LLE on thread. Big boost in performance for me. Dolphin would always insist that the core dedicated to LLE had to use 100% of the CPU, from start to finish when I ran Dolphin. Very annoying. Now it's much more manageable, about 40~60% of my CPU, and games that required LLE hit full-speed constantly rather than dropping in and out of full-speed.
Just a side note, the enhancements Dolphin does to the graphics (anti-alias, anisotropic filtering, internal resolution) are handled by the GPU. If you have a decent enough GPU, don't worry about adding eye-candy. Unless you set your graphical options beyond what your GPU can handle, it won't affect Dolphin's performance, HLE or LLE. But if you're a purist who wants to recreate the 480p GCN experience, that's cool. More power to you. Keep it real.
