Well, i am on windows xp and i have the same problem with a x360 controller. So its not a windows 7 problem.
I also have the problem when using the keyboard.
Lastly, all the Links appear to be black, and the hearth meter also has some graphical glitches.
Is there any way to solve this?

Enable "Use safe texture cache" in the graphics plugin

I'm also having issues with my wired 360 controller and can't open up the big door that you need to hold R to pull down on the second level...it's a really weird bug but I'm sure it's related to issues with the 360 driver. I'll seek out an alternative later on when I have time.

thanks! safe texture cache helped me fix the graphics. Maybe i am playing to much games at the same time, makes me forget to constantly change the settings Tongue

you can set it on a game to game basis by right clicking in the game browser and going to properties.

If "Enable Dual Core" is on - It makes the controls go in to turbo mode making some areas in the game impossible to beat (levers you need to pull)

As for the sound...
if there is a long note that needs to be player (2+ seconds) it just cuts it off without finishing

I get 50-60 with Dual core on - but the movement sucks since the movement buttons act like turbo mode buttons Sad
I get 30-40 with Dual Core off

I have AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ 2Gb DDR2 Ram and Asus EAH 3650 and I can't get any game including this one to have over 7-9 fps.
In Zelda FS I get 3 fps on the first field.
Do anyone know why?I'm using SVN 3661.
I'm ready to buy nVidia GeForce 9600 GT if it will fix this problem.

I'm trying svn 4098 and it's finally more playable with dual core enabled. Not perfect but without too much effort I'm able to charge the sword, pull objects and walk almost normally.

EDIT: Apparently this just happens in less action intensive areas. Too bad. Switching to single core again.

alright, i have another problem with this game. In level 2-2 (the level in the village), after you get a stone or somthing like that you have to change dementions to continue (bij going one screen up, close where the owl comes). When you try to change demensions, the emulator gets increadbly slow (2 fps or lower). It is so slow that it becomes unplayable. Any options to fix this?

ps. level name is Village Of The Blue Maiden

Dual core now "turbo-mode" bug free!!!!!!. Finally I can play at full speed without stuttering, pull stuff, charge sword, etc. I've reached the end of this game today. There are still some bugs in some areas where sprites appear over Link, nothing serious. The only major graphical problem was at the very end of the level 7-2, where the roof is over Link and you can´t see any of them. Luckily you only need to walk around a bit and step up to the transport beam.

What settings could I be missing in order to get full speed on my machine? Yes, I use D3D9 plugin because OpenGL has been known to crash Dolphin on occasion on here. And, yes I do go game to game to adjust settings because I got tired of having to go into the graphics settings constantly

I think you already answered your question (read your signature specs). Although its a GC game, still needs a decent cpu, 2.6 Ghz or above.

Still, you could try Copy EFB to texture and see if it helps.

Hell no, I'm a big Zelda fan but never owned a GBA, but this games is really fun even in SOLO mode.
