The widescreen code added has a C2xxxxxx code. Removing the C2 line removes the error but does nothing.
Also the vba-m svn-1490 has link in file, link with, dolphin emulator. 06-29-2016, 11:16 AM
Is anyone aware of what version of GBA-M works with Dolphin 5.0, if any? I'm having a hard time finding older versions (they're all hosted on really shady sites). The latest doesn't seem to work either. Upon launching while Dolphin is running and waiting for a GBA connection, it immediately says "JoyBus host invalid; disabling".
If anyone can get this working,an updated tutorial for 5.0 would be greatly appreciated. 07-03-2016, 06:40 PM
for vba-m it should be svn1490
can only get it to work locally though wont work with netplay, although i would love to know if thats a problem with the version or its just not a supported thing 07-04-2016, 06:48 AM
IIRC the GBA link cable requires extremely low latency to communicate properly, so it will never be possible to link VBA-M to Dolphin over the Internet, as even a LAN connection is too slow to work.

I'm having a problem getting the virtual boy advance to link with the gamecube. I have the VBA-M 1030b link enabled version and Dolphin 5.0. I've played it several times over the last 5 or 6 months and I never had a problem with it, but now all of the sudden it won't link. In every past instance, I would run the game (four swords adventures), get to the point where you link the game boys, open up the VBA and enable the joybus connection, and at that point it would normally "freeze" the game until I opened the VBA bios, and then it would connect and everything would be fine. But now I go to press ok to enable the joybus connection and nothing happens (the game doesn't stall/freeze), and then when I open the VBA bios, both Dolphin and VBA stop working. I have no idea what's going on. I tried re-installing Dolphin, both version 4.0 and 5.0 just to check, re-installed the link enabled version of VBA-M. I don't know what to make of it at this point?? Can anyone help?? Thanks if you can

I got this working at full speed on multiplayer with Dolphin 5.0 using VBA-M SVN1229. I've been struggling for hours to get it running without hiccups once I connected more than one instance of VBA-M. I'm using LLE and DX11. I found that the key to full speed was to enable Turbo mode on each instance of VBA-M. Now its rock solid 60 FPS with four players.
