The VBA-M link needs the real DSP rom dumps, not the ones that are bundled with Dolphin.

I've managed to get 4 instances of VBA-M and connected and working but each one causes a further drop in framerate. It's playable but sounds terrible at ~45fps. I've seen online that changing the throttle and timeout in VBA-M can help but neither seems to work. Is there anything I can do to bring the game up to speed?

You need a faster CPU. Bear in mind that you are emulating a GameCube which has a CPU of 486Mhz and 4 GBA's which have a CPU of 16Mhz each. And the GameCube's GPU and the 4 GBA's video hardware...

Hey guys I have trouble playing this game multiplayer I do what the steps say and the first vba links perfectly, but the second one never links. it just shows the gameboy startup screen and won't link i have it on hle because i dont care about the audio really i just want to play with a friend any tips or solutions
