I can't get it running, I have done every single step tons of times, and it always stops responding right here:

The built in LLE audio doesn't have GBA connection support. Either use HLE audio or rip the DSP Rom from your Wii and replace the included one. There is a notice in Dolphin that even says IPL, BIOS, and GBA stuff don't work properly.
I hope this helps! 02-24-2014, 07:55 PM
I have the button holding problem with Twilight Princess and Four Swords. Any ability that I want to hold for an extended period auto releases. Example: circle sword swipe or bow and arrow will auto release as soon as it's charged in both games. Another example is the gale boomerang which is imperative to be held for a long duration to complete puzzles will auto release after 3 seconds. I've disabled the idle skipping but that didn't work in either games.
I haven't tried the controller yet but I'd like to use that as a last resort because I like my controls. Any help would be great! 02-24-2014, 08:17 PM
Disable Idle Skipping; if you're going full speed it shouldn't be a problem, but less than full speed that should help.

Freezing on change frame.
Reference: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=5490#c19 Try load state from this file: https://mega.co.nz/#!noIzzApB!pplb3-U34whrQTXkOsmawI4e9USMk6m7xY35hkZHKCg Just load the state and go to up. It freezes and not change screen. FPS turn 0. Dolphin continues running "normally". Video showing what happen: http://youtu.be/oIyYQvZWOMw There are some way to I help to debug this case? Sending some type of log, or something like that? Running on 4.0-1034 03-28-2014, 03:53 PM
use winmd5free and get the md5 of your ISO. I've yet to experience a crash on this game. Also, try doing it without loading a savestate. Zelda HLE + Savestates is never a good combination, at least before 4.0-1300

I was wondering, is it possible to play this title over netplay or does having to connect to VBA screw things up?

It seems that I'm having problems using a VBA-M controller. The GBA bios loads fine, but after the startup screen (when the GBA screen says "Look at the tv!" and Dolphin is displaying the title screen) and onward, there is no audio from Dolphin, yet I'm still getting audio from VBA-M. I tested if it was just Four Swords having the problem by using another game, Warioware Inc, which ran just fine.
I'm using VBA-M beta 2 and Dolphin version 8040. |
