For NES games, just use a NES emulator. http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/nes/

I hate it when people say this.

1. If you don't own the original NES game or don't have a way to dump it, you can't do that.
2. Often times converting NES VC games for an NES emulator doesn't work, these games included.
3. In other games, NES titles are bonuses (like in Animal Crossing) and are meant to be played in-game.
4. Correct emulation would run these games fine.

Don't entirely dismiss using Dolphin for NES games (or other VC games for that matter). It is possible though to get the N64 games off of th collectors edition disc to be used with an N64 emulator. I'll post on that later.

I disagree. I thing NES games have to be played on NES emulators or N64 games on N64 emulators. But it's subjective.
You'll notice games from older systems tend to not work correctly with Dolphin. Of course if you play them on GC it's another story

On that note, idk if anyone has posted this previously in this thread, but here is how I extracted the N64 ROMs for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask from the Collector's Edition disc.

*Works for Windows only*

1. Download this file (tgctogcm.exe) so that you can convert TGC GameCube ROMs to GCM GameCube ROMs. I will assume you put it on the desktop.

2. Open up Dolphin, right-click the Collector's Edition game in the list, and select Properties.

3. Under the Filesystem tab, expand the "tgc" folder and find "majora_ENG_091003.tgc" and "zelda_ENG_090903.tgc." These are GameCube disc files for Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, respectively.

4. Right-click each of these files and select "extract" and place them in the same folder as "tgctogcm.exe" (I assume you used your desktop).

5. Open the command line (search for "cmd" on your Windows machine) and type:
Code:
cd "C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\"
tgctogcm.exe "majora_ENG_091003.tgc" "Majora's Mask.gcm"
tgctogcm.exe "zelda_ENG_090903.tgc" "Ocarina of Time.gcm"
*This assumes you used the desktop as the folder for your files. Replace <username> with your actual user name.

That should give you two new .gcm files on your desktop: "Majora's Mask.gcm" and "Ocarina of Time.gcm." Put these in the folder with the rest of your Dolphin games. If you want, you can then play them as any other disc image in Dolphin.

6. Open Dolphin and right-click your Ocarina of Time game in the list (it may just be an "unknown" title, so look at those). Extract the N64 ROM in its filesystem. Do the same for Majora's Mask.

7. Play two of the greatest N64 games on a legit N64 emulator.

I said absolutely nothing about the situation being ideal or playing NES games in Dolphin to be better than playing them in an NES emulator. Go back and read my comment so you actually understand what I said.

I wonder if there's a problem with NES-Dolphin. Animal Crossing's nes games don't work, so....
