I just switched it to nvidia and it started working, but it runs worse because of the shared heatsink (laptop). I tried switching it before, but maybe the other things plus switching it is what did it.

I am getting a weird graphical glitch on my Equipment screen when i press start

other than that the game seems to freeze every 10 minutes or so

how do i fix this glitch on the menu screen and stop he game from freezing.

I am on Windows 7 Dolphin 4.0.2 NVidia 560M Intel i7-2630Q

EDIT:

I have solved the character glitch issue by storing EFB Textures to RAM

but the game still freezes and crashes occaisionally

yes, but there's been so many changes since then that it might as well be from when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

4.0.2 is listed as the latest stable version. Should i use latest dev? or latest release candidate?

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I recently started using Dolphin and I've learned how to dump textures. What I'd like to know is if there's a way to replace certain textures with empty image files and use those instead. I've always wanted to play Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask without the HUD (screen clutter). If you can point me to any thread or tutorials that'd be great.

Hey guys, I'm after some help with Majora's Mask.

When running the game in widescreen, objects to the sides of the screen aren't rendered properly. They pop-in as the camera pans across. Now this may be a known issue with an easy fix; the Wiki page for the Collector's Edition disc lists a giant Gecko code for a widescreen render fix.

The problem is, I can't seem to get the Gecko code to work, and I don't know if this is the solution to my problem in the first place. I've searched Google for answers on how to get Gecko codes running and the best info seems to be to follow the instructions on this page but, yeah, it's not working for me.

So yeah, any suggestions are appreciated.

Dolphin 5.0-206 there is a bug with the widescreen code listed on the Wiki page:

https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Collector%27s_Edition#Widescreen_Render_Fix

Game starts fine and you can see widescreen working on the intro sequence. However, after confirming a name/loading a game Dolphin crashes with "Invalid read from 0x30913a74, PC = 0x8001e674" (ie- before you get to gameplay).

Other codes such as the 60fps hack are working - it seems to be just the "Widescreen Render Fix" code that is causing this crash.

When I go to game properties and click on Show Defaults, it opens not one, but three (!) ini files: PZLE01, PZL and P.
Are they all supposed to be there or do I have some old corpses lying around?
