Pardon my ignorance, but where is advanced? I have 4.02 and the only "advanced" I could find was under graphics settings, which had no option for over clocking.

Latest builds means the dev builds from here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ (currently latest as of writing is 4.0-5152)

I was using the latest stable build, my bad. I just downloaded that build and it crashes Dolphin when I try to start the game, claiming it encountered "too many errors" and mentioned the GPU.

Are you running the 347.09 drivers, and are you forcing any enhancements through Nvidia Control panel?

Just started running the latest drivers and I am not forcing an enhancements. It got the new version working so I just need to get back to the point where I was previously and see if it helps.

Another, they less problematic issue. Every time I hit pause, the game reverts to weird blue and greens before overlaying the menu's on top of it. It is fine as it is merely asthetic and doesn't appear to cause any issue as it goes back to normal after you unpause, just was wondering if this is common. Also, in case it changes anything, I use the integrated CPU since it is a laptop and a shared heatsink. I was informed Dolphin doesn't rely too much on GPU and that would give me much better frame rates. It has worked well in all the other games I play.

That's because you have EFB2RAM off. Turn EFB2RAM on, and that won't happen.

I don't know why, but now Dolphin will start, but if I try to play either this game or Project M (a mod for brawl), it instantly crashes. I can play melee, which (outside of normal brawl, which also crashes) is the only game I can play. I have thought it was several things that all didn't seem to change when I tried to fix it, so I have no idea what could be causing it. Thought it could be related to having 2 versions of Dolphin, Project M being a mod and I just need to restart, and many others, none seem to work.

Are you running on the Intel HD maybe rather than your NVIDIA card?
