Not sure if this is the right thread or not, but...

For some reason, the smoke effects in this game cause a massive slowdown when the rest of the game doesn't have slowdowns. It only happens when the resolution is raised. Turning off Scaled EFB Copy and Per-Pixel Lighting doesn't help, nor does disabling AA and AF. Even setting it to just 2X resolution has this issue if I am playing in windowed mode, and 3X in fullscreen. My specs are up to date in my profile.

I'm also having weird sound issues. Sometimes, some sounds repeat.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention: I'm using the Open GL backend.

So, I updated the emulator, and nothing's changed. I also updated my drivers, have rebooted several times since my last post, and swapped to DX11. It still has this bug.

Should I post in another sub-forum or... what?

Has anyone noticed the widescreen setting doesn't save? I find I have to re-enable widescreen every time.

Ah, never mind, this is how the game was programmed I see from a review - http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/2010/02/incredible_hulk_ultimate_destruction_retro

"Owners of widescreen televisions will be happy to know that this is among the short list of GameCube games that support a 16:9 aspect ratio. Annoyingly this option isn't saved when selected and it can only be enabled from the top-level options menu, meaning you have to remember to set it every time you start the game. "

For proper widescreen support this game should have the widescreen hack disabled and the aspect ratio set to "Auto". Aka these video settings:

wideScreenHack = False
AspectRatio =
