Hi nintendo_nerd,

Are you using a savestate to load the game?
If so, load the game from the ingame loading/saving menu.

Could you take a screenshot from the problem area, as well as provide a save (preferably the memorycard, or even better, the GCI) of the game?
I'd like to try this on my end.

It's on my brother's laptop (who lives in the apartment below mine) and I suggested that he tries a memory card save first and if not, to to send me the memory card and then I can send it to you. I'll keep you posted. Cool

Edit 1:

It worked! Thanks again for helping! Turns out it was simply some kind of corruption upon loading the save state, but loading from a memory card helped bypass the issue!

I've been playing ToS for about 30 hours on 3.0 809, and its been running smoothly. However, when I tried visiting Flanoir the speed dropped from 99-100% to 30~50% and the game would freeze and crash. Is there anyway I can fix or get pass this?

Yeah... but imo, it sounds like overheating. Check your temps with CoreTemp.

i find dolphin 3.5 is a bit strange, im back at playing with 3.0 cause 3.5 is crashing over and over again is i use the elevator key in the emergency exit from Welgaia.

Also my 3.0 has a muuchhhhh better performance.
Only thing thats not working correctly/perfectly is the sound, but i can deal with this^^

Sometimes when the crash happens, Dolphin gives me an error saying that it had to do with HLE. I tried switching to LLE to see if that would change anything, but the crashes would still happen, and I even got that Error message once again.

This is what I got in CoreTemp

And this is the HLE error

This HLE error is not related to DSP HLE, so switching to LLE won't change anything, FWIW.

You're right, I just tried playing Flanoir again using the latest buid of 3.5 and saw a new error about "CPU load" or something I wish I took a screenshot. I'll try checking it again. Once again, Flanoir is the only place where is happening. When I go inside of a house or shop everything is fine, So I think it might be the snow effect that's causing some sort of problem.

Another Tales issue in the city of Flanoir, when my brother speaks to certain people (to make the penguin feather gloves), the emulator locks up.
Here's the memory card save file in question. It also locks up when you speak to the possess soldier with the curse weapon. He's using Dolphin 3.5 x64.

He REALLY needs some insight for this issue!

Will update with screenshot
