All is fixed with new ax hle...there is no reason for you to use master branch when playing SOA or ToS Smile

Like I said, LLE and HLE are very comparable for both games for me in master branch builds, and no doubt the new AX HLE builds make them even more similar. I don't get any problems like missing notes in master branch. Minor things like volume and reverb are slightly off. If it's not working for you in master branches, it could be due to audio backends like I suggested. SoA and ToS are otherwise perfect for me.

With the 3.5-79 x64 release I am missing the start menu completely in this game. I can see the background and the falling leaf and everything else but the text is completely missing for me.

Did you enable a projection hack for this game? The projection hack shipped with dolphin has a tendency to do just that.

<@neobrain> that looks sophisticated enough to not be a totally dumb thing to do

Yeah I am using the projection hack lol

Edit: By the way the game runs at about 40fps with LLE audio for some reason and my i5 3570k is overclocked to 4ghz.

Edit 2: getting 30 fps with HLE audio on the world map. So I had to limit FPS via Audio because it has bad reverb when set the FPS limit is set to Auto.

Yeah, LLE might be demanding in some games. Overclock your Core i5-3570k to 4.2/4.3GHz and you should get fullspeed.

Also try to use the official Dolphin 3.5 release.

If you check my info you will see that I am using the revision 3.5-79 x64 which is part of the 3.5 main branch

Hey all!

I tried to run ToS on Dolphin with LLE, HLE, set priority to high and tried to change graphic options but it still
does the weird sound glitches for me.

One time I got to the point where the teacher tells Lloyd to wake up without any issue but after that
the sound glitches reappeared :<

Now I wondered if my system might be too "weak" for Dolphin to play it properly? (My specs should be on my profile)

Thanks in advance :>

Your system is too weak to use LLE. Try an AX-HLE build ( http://dolphin-emu.org/download/branches/ )

Thanks for the quick reply! :>

I downloaded the top version of the new-ax-hle branch (I hope that is what you meant Smile ) and tried to run it but as soon
as the voice kicks in the frames drop from 60 to 40 :<

Do you have any other advice or would I have to upgrade my system to make it work?
