You are using the old projection hack? Disable it or try the new one:

ProjectionHack = 1
PH_ZNear = 0.00026
PH_ZFar = 0.00026

With 4.0.2 try using OpenGL+OpenCL and see if it works, this is a known issue: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=6587

If anything, you probably shouldn't use 4.0.2. It's very slow in comparison to the latest development revisions of Dolphin. Flanoir is going to be slow no matter what, until it gets looked into. But 4.0.2 is only going to exacerbate the problem, in theory at least. Try the latest revisions here and see if that at least makes Flanoir bearable.

i tried using opengl+cl but for some reason it was slower like 10fps below for me.

i thought 4.0.2 was the newest since its on the homepage lol anyways i was able to get pass this town with just 30ish fps since there wasnt much to do in flanoir anyways not sure with sidequests though.

again thanks for the suggestions!

¿Could you try using JITIL? I think I had the same issue in that scene a year ago.

JTIL still causes the crash. Tried single core again and still crashes. Anything else I should try?
