Hey you guys, I was wondering if anyone had any issues with changing targets in-battle (with the R button). In linux I can't change targets (moving the camera in the world view works however), but in windows it works again. Ive tried a few builds, and I haven't been able to find out whats going on. Has this happened to anyone?
It really hurts sometimes not being able to do this

Has anyone tried this with the dc-netplay branch? I tried it out yesterday but it would just hang right when the animated cutscene would normally start playing.
I know it works really well with just single core on a stable/dev build, but my friend has a pretty weak computer and needs the dual core to reach 60fps. I would appreciate it if I could get some help from someone who has tested out different settings to see if it worked. Otherwise, maybe how to get the best performance on this game with single core? 03-05-2014, 05:19 AM
DC-netplay branch does not support this game. Most games with FMVs will crash DC-Netplay, with Melee and Brawl being exceptions.
This game is not supported by DC-Netplay at this point. This game should run fine on dualcore in Master; I never had an issue with it. 03-05-2014, 09:33 AM
I see, thanks for the reply. I did try out netplay w/ Dual Core on Master, and while it does not desync as quick as it did a few months ago, it still desyncs alot more often than single core.
Either way, thanks for the help. 03-05-2014, 10:18 AM
Oh, you're doing netplay. yeah... that's going to be a crapshoot. I just recommend getting as powerful as a processor as you can and running in single core for this game.

Yeah, it worked absolutely fine in single core. Finished the game without a single desync, seems that dual core still isn't an option at this point (and might not ever be one).
But I'm glad that the chance for it to happen is there, as that was one of the most fun experiences I've had. 03-15-2014, 03:46 PM
The problem with dualcore netplay and some games is that they just crash. For the games that work, it should be perfect. This is not one of those games (yet.)

any mods for improved textures? or more importantly, any way to change the battle camera to a more... auto-ish camera zoom? so that I can do multiplayer stuff with a buddy? camera mods? anything? I need a how to here...

There're HD textures for this game in the HD Textures forum. For modifying the camera, Dolphin has a Free Look option in Graphics -> Advanced.
