The DirectX9 back-end seems to have the worst performance. Following up is OpenGL, which performs a bit better, but it's not a consistent 60FPS.
Do you get 60FPS even when reading the synopsis Shonumi?

60 FPS all the way on 3.0-809 (too lazy to compile the latest) but it's the same for every other revision going back to 3.0. Blame your drivers? :p
Like I said, I've never encountered this issue. Can't seem to reproduce it at all.

That's the HLE fixed builds right?
What settings are you running it with?
HLE/LLE, x3/x4IR?

I'll try it again then. Tongue
If you still get better performance, you're forcing me to install Linux.

It's 60 FPS for HLE and LLE. My IR is set to Auto (Window Size) so that's 1280x1024 for my monitor, a little bigger than 720p, but just under 2x IR, though it really doesn't matter what I set the IR to. 8x MSAA and 16x AF, EFB Copies -> Texture, Tex Cache Accuracy -> Fast, Skip EFB Access From CPU is enabled, nothing fancy like Per-Pixel Lighting or Depth, and V-Sync is off.

On Garteal:I'm always using the newest version of Dolphin. At this moment the new AX HLE version. But i had this problem with older versions of Dolphin before. No difference with old HLE version and LLE, and no difference without hires texture settings

Did you try to change settings ? Run with default settings ?
For example, I would first set IR to 1x, disabled opencl, openmp, progresive scan and cheats.

Oh man...On a lot months i have found out, that it was my GPU - I'm underclocking and undervolting to save energy and heat. In no game Dolphin is stuttering, in ToS only in menu. So i've forgot that it could be an issue of the GPU. The clocks are only on GPU 300MHz and RAM 300MHz - The original clocks are 900/1050...Sorry for bug you all with this

It's not going to resolve anything Manaplayer.
We have the same GPU and I'm experiencing the same issues with the DirectX9 and OpenGL back-ends.
Only DirectX11 stays at 60FPS in all menu's.

My GPU is always going up to the 900/1050 clocks, and seems to get some load on it in the DirectX9 and OpenGL back-ends.
Something is definitely wrong here.

Perhaps it has to do with the drivers indeed...
We need more people to test this. Another person with an NVIDIA GPU using Windows would be appreciated.

Any volunteers?

Is it problem only with hires textures ? I just tried normally running the game with LLE and got constant 60 fps in all menus, tried with framelimit off to see the actual speed and got over 100 fps Smile

No, I have problems in either case, with the hires textures slowing it down to a crawl in DirectX11.
DirectX9 drops to around 15-40FPS or so depending on the menus iirc.

Using 3.0-809, this is what I get when I enter the Synopsis with DirectX9.

So it seems the NVIDIA GPU's perform better in this game.
I wonder what exactly causes the slowdowns with AMD GPU's.
