Just wondering if my tired old PC would be able to run this at a playable framerate or if it's not even worth bothering.

Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ GHz
Ram: 1GB
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 6600LE 256MB

Thanks.

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ only 2.2Ghz.Dualcore above 2.4Ghz atlease but your bottle-neck is graphic card .Althought people said Dolphin is CPU dependent but you need a good graphic card to oftain a playable FPS.Nvidia 8600Gt/Ati 4670 are cheap ,you should buy one
Here is the video i record on a crappy Pentium D 3.06Ghz,Nvidia 9800GT ,Ram 2Gb in HD720P:

Could someone tell me which are the optimal settings for Melee on Dolphin 2.0? I get some slowdown when playing with 4 people, and I want to see if some config will fix that (but I don't wanna play around with the options so much)

Alright, so I've tried everything; 3 different Dolphin revisions, Googling ways to improve performance when playing SSBM and even deleting and re-installing Dolphin 2.0 - NOTHING solves my problem. My computer should be enough to play at 60FPS consistently; especially, if other people have been posting, a year ago, that their game runs smoothly without any stutters at all. Every time I start the game it runs fine. When I begin to pick my character, whether it be Vs. or Story mode, the lag begins and then picks up again as I pick the stage. After the stage is picked, no matter what stage I'm playing at, the frame rate randomly drops from 60 to 45 and then back up to 78 sometimes. The frame rate is CONSTANTLY moving - never consistent.

My specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE
eVGA GTX 275 FTW Edition
2GB DDR2 G. Skill 800MHz
GameXStream 850w
Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

Someoneeeeeee help !

Thanks in advance.

Maybe try updating your graphics and directx drivers, and recheck the configuration. Probably you have antialiasing set at a very high value. I don't know, I'm just throwing possibilities.

Nope. I have the latest drivers for both DirectX and my graphics card. AA is set at 1x (default). I haven't touched it.

Thank you for the reply though.

I tried downloading this, but it came in 5 different parts. They are all RARs. Is there anyway to get dolphin to run them or converts them into either WAD or ISO? If not could someone give me a download link???
