Dolphin SVN R 6515 x64 Regular Build by Lectrode does not seem to have Vertex Streaming Hack. Which version of Dolphin is fast and has Vertex Streaming Hack? I tried using 4.0.1 and it has huge audio issues no matter which settings I choose. It even has Audio issues and graphics issue in Sonic 3 VC. Dolphin SVN R 6515 x64 Regular Build by Lectrode does not have those issues but it seems to be a bit slow for my PC or my settings. So which version you recommend me?

Windows 10 x64
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
GeForce GTX 1080 8GB
16GB RAM

Melee has perfect audio emulation in 4.0.1 and onward. The only reason you'd have audio issues is if your computer wasn't running it fast enough. I don't know why you'd be getting slowdown, I have the same exact i5, and a GTX 280 run EVERYTHING in Melee fine. Also, as over 4.0-298, Dolphin is even faster than it was before when I had that computer, which is nice.

Could you screenshot your configuration for Dolphin? I tried newest version, and sound is horrible and it makes the whole game unplayable. Vertex Streaming hack in newest version got made a game a bit faster in 4 player mode but it's still not full speed. Should I try x86 Dolphin on my 64bit PC? Do you want me to make video showing how terrible sound and speed are?

Can you tell me how fast it's actually running instead of saying terrible? If it's 40 - 50 fps on Fountain of Dreams, then that's to be expected. Otherwise, yeah, with dualcore enabled using the modern builds, that processor should be able to handle anything. I don't know what's going on. Can you screenshot me your settings? And don't use 32bit, it's usually very much slower.

Actually, it is Fountain of Dreams, but other levels do not work much better either and sound is still horrible in Dolphin 4. I made a video with all details explaining and showing my configuration:

Something strange indeed is happening with your computer. That opening video takes almost no processor. I had a pretty much identical computer to yours and was able to run Fountain of Dreams on Single Core mode. I'm guessing your computer is either overheating (bad thermal paste, since hte processor is old, or lack of cleanings, or fan going bad.) Try monitoring temperatures while you play. But even that doesn't explain why the opening video of Melee is so slow. That indicates something very wrong with your computer.

Any program that can check what's wrong with my PC?

There's nothing wrong with your PC. Your 760 at stock clock is just a bit weak. You'll have to overclock it to get a better performance.

Btw the build you're using is one of the fastest ever. Don't expect something faster Tongue

How did then JMC47 run it without issues then? But I am glad to know you say there are no problems with my PC Smile

Just because your PC is well above minimum specifications doesn't mean something isn't wrong. For Melee to not be running full speed (in the video especially) on a stock setup means that something is probably messed up somewhere. I just don't know exactly where. Maybe that graphics card is the problem? I don't know in this case.
