GC super smash bros melee

hi!
super smash bros melee runs slow on my laptop 25fps
i have configured dolphin r6819 to the same config on the dolphin site.

my specs are:

1.80ghz dual core amd turon cpu.
512mb video card.
2gb ddr2 RAM

any help would be awesome.

i would of thought that it would run fast because it is a GC game.

Well your CPU is probably what is holding you back, but since I don't know what exactly your video card, but that only matters if it is really onboard. Also the Wii isn't that much more impressive than the GC. (somebody else can list the differences for all I care). But yea, laptops blow for emulation because of the need for raw CPU power which your 4 generation old CPU can't handle.

my graphics card is a NVIDIA geForce go 6150.
also would i be able to overclock (i cant through my bios and all the programs i tried did not work).
