This fixed it! Thank you SO much, neobrain! Thank you to Garteal and Starscream also for trying to help me.

Now that we've gotten problem 1 taken care of does anyone have any ideas for fixing problem 2?

Problem 2: Won't do 16x9
I've tried everything I can to try and get Dolphin to stretch the game to 16x9 but it refuses. I've tried choosing Force 16x9, I've tried choosing Stretch to Window, and I've even tried the Widescreen hack but none of them will make the game go into 16x9 when my resolution is set to 1920x1080. All the other gamecube games I've tried will stretch the image but not Sunshine.

Don't use the widescreen hack with this game, it'll make the water blurry on the sides of the screen. For the 16:9 problem, open the graphics config while the game is running.

That did the trick! Thank you!

Can someone confirm Sirena beach, mission 6 completable? The mission where you clean the whole beach in a time limit. I can't get passed this mission, an it's the last world with shadow mario, so I can't progress to the end of the game.
The goo is sprayed away as it should be, and Im not slipping on it. I know I cleaned everything spotless
Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500U @ 4.0 GHz, 6 cores 12 threads
GPU: AMD Vega 8 iGPU @ 1800 MHz, 512 MB dedicated VRAM
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 Dual Channel @ 3200 MHz

You can use a build of the d3d11_pixelmetrics branch to complete that level (obviously you'll need to use d3d11 for that). You can just temporarily use that build and go back to whatever you're using now once you've completed the level.

I have exactly the same problem and I found out the cause. When you spray a bench, that "blue electric dirt" that is located under the bench doesn't disappear, even if I spray it without stopping.

Well, I'll try using Direct3D11, as someone mentioned that it may solve the problem.

Only Direct3D11 won't solve the problem afaik. You should use Direct3D11 AND a d3d11_pixelmetrics branch build -> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=771&pid=224250#pid224250
