Sound is not working in 3661 or any below. Try a newer one, I think soundsupport started somewhere around 389X... but I'm not to sure. If you know how to compile Dolphin yourself, do so. There should be also some guides around here, don't know certainly...

Been trying to get this game running for some days now, tried a lot of Dolphin builds; 3661, 3851, 3946 and 3950. Getting very low framerates, 5-10 ingame. Menus and movies are better, with around 30 frames. What are the optimum settings for this game? And what dolphin version is best?

(And yes i've looked around forums for post discussing settings for this game, didnt find any with a definitive answer)

My system specs are:
Core2Duo e6600 @2x 2400mhz
Windows xp sp3
15k Scsi harddrive
2gb ram
Ati Radeon HD4850
Hopefully these system specs are adequate for running this game(?)
Emu Rig/HTPC
Core2Duo E6600 2.4ghz, Geforce 7600GS 256MB
2gb DDR2, Seagate Cheetah 15k U160 SCSI
Win Xp Sp3, MediaPortal 1.0
Emulating NES,SNES,N64,GC,WII,PSX,PS2,Misc SEGA

Yes dual core is on, been trying with lock threads to cores on/off, not much difference from that setting. I've ran other gamecube games with no problem, ie mario party games. (older revisions and stuff, been having a break from emulation Smile)

Could some people who are running the game at full speed please post their settings? I have a AMD PhenomII X3 at 3.4GHz, a Radeon 4870 1gb edition graphics card, and 4gbs of RAM but I am only getting 20 fps on Isle Delphino. For my setting please check this thread: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-3653.html

- use older version, for example 3404 from main page. newer one runs slow here, too.

also turn off other audio and use framelimiter. other audio is bugged in this game (at least for me)

and well, you are using efb to ram. with that setting it slows down by a huge amount, thats why i played with efb to texture.

Also try frame skipping, it will speed up your game a bit

but makes it unplayable.

sunshine needs continuos efb copys, thats why you cant use frameskipper unless you like to screw the whole image.

somebody wanted to make the frameskipper use the old efb copy instead of insert a black frame but actually that didn't happened.

So games like sunshine or pikmin for example, is another one of those, cant have frameskip.

Fantastic job!! I'm so amazed I can't believe it! Keep the good work! SMS works almost perfectly, but I noticed that some water reflections are missing (sunshine does not reflect correctly on the water), some shadows glitches too. Sound is good, except noises emitted by Delfino inhabitants. Is there any setting to change fixing these bugs? However I would like to thank all the dev crew, I'm able to play to mario sunshine againCool (my PC screen don't accept GC games signal and don't have TV...)
