Text-Preload could help, also you need a progressive scan. OpenGL works the best, but no effects. As i've seen is hard to tell what to do.

These are some Options from Dolphin. Sometimes OpenGL works better.

Texture preloading locks texture data into the Flipper/Hollywood texture
memory to avoid cache misses due to other textures being loaded. It is
used by several games to manage "long term" textures which needs to be
present in memory all the time.

This commit implements basic support for this feature. A more complete
support would require a complete rewrite of the current texture cache to
handle caching based on TMEM regions instead of memory address.

You know it better here. Implement Texture Preloading Support

... I know what tex-preload was for, I was just pointing out that it's not necessary for Sunshine at all ...

Yes, that's right.. I'll see if there's a method for fix errors in this game. Probably we may wait for further revisions.

There are no errors in the game, it works perfect on latest revisions. Not sure about sound, but it probably works fine with DSP-LLE as well.

Question
Hello,

I know its already been discussed.. but its not answered by an programmer/admin/<--something like that Tongue.. (Not that i have seen in these forums)

This game is working great now playing it in 1080P (1920 x 1080 - 16:9) Big Grin .
But it is not so great when aspect ratio is forced to use because stretching doesn't work Sad .
I like FULLSCREEN not fullSCReen Tongue

1280x1024 is the highest resolution that stretches (its the last 4:3 option if i'm right).

Don't know if its possible to fix this but that's why we have these forums. Wink

Anyway thank you to all the ones who spend a lot of time in Dolphin.

Hello,

So, I've already checked the wiki, this thread and other threads around to find a way to fix a problem I'm having with this game, but still didn't find the solution.

From time to time the game slows down and keep working at 50%~60% speed for a good period of time. Even if I stay at the exact same place, some time later it will go back to 100%. Increasing settings that should make the game much heavier to handle does not affects the speed at all, and due to the random places the slow down can happen and how it fixes itself after minutes, I don't think hardware is a problem.

I've been trying to play with default settings and EFB to RAM (although changing this does no affects game speed), with the latest release. Can anyone recommend a proper configuration for the latest version of Dolphin or the ones right before it, since the ones I've seen are really outdated?

Thanks.

Well, we won't know if it's a problem with your settings unless you post them. Also, we won't know if it's a hardware issue unless you tell us your exact hardware; your profile isn't very descriptive, at least I can't tell what model your CPU is. It might very well be hardware related, i.e. your processor might throttle down momentarily due to heat. Be sure to check your temps. Make a note of your temps and CPU usage when you observe the slowdown.

I dumped this game a while back and I've been playing it with no problems whatsoever. I'm not at my desktop at the moment, so I can't post my settings right now; I'll be sure to do it later though. FWIW though, setting EFB to Texture is fine for this game, at least in the latest versions.
