For those, like me, that are having difficulties Sleepy in putting Mario Sunshine WORKING WITHOUT FREEZES just do like this :

First you must download one of this revisions :

32bits systems:
http://rapidshare.com/files/397408743/5643Mx64.rar32bit

64bits Systems:
http://rapidshare.com/files/397415424/5643Mx32.rar

then download the patch:

http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/attachment.php?aid=3527

After configure the emulator you must put the downloaded patch in the same directory as the emulator. Then you enter the Dolphin and chose the game and before entetr the game , click in right mouse button and choose "properties"; "patches";"add" and in the name you write the name of the patch "fifofix". Press ok and the new file in "patches" will be selected and game will play without freezes. ATTENTION you may lose your saves so BACKUP your gamecube Save if you have another games in memorycard.

PS: Don´t forget to chose Direct3d Plugin and in config don´t select bi/trilinear and choose enable copy to ram Wink

there will be minor bugs such us the two mushrooms at the first goo, right before you get the "hose", will be in the ground only showing their heads

I hope i helped someone Smile

Sorry for my english i´m portuguese Tongue

iv been using the latest revs i update every rev i can get the game to work but the last one i got the two games i have been playing bug up at random times.

zelda WW the screen turns black after a while but the still see the interface and can still pause the game and save thought (lucky for me).

as for this game it would just freeze strait up.

i can get the game to work with the openGL gpu plugin
Native mips and EFB to ram thats all you need on
i have also been useing the JITIL compiler over JIT
try locking the threads to i think that can sped it up a little but not much it runs a little slow but works fine.
i just wanna get the speed back up now!

JITIL has this bug in Wind Waker, switch to JIT and it'll stop.
If you're using JITIL it CAN be circumvented by looking through first-person or such, I think you press Up on the C-stick.

Use the patched builds posted earlier in the thread.
These stop the freezing.

Well well, it seems that with R5719, the freezing in Mario Sunshine is gone! No need to use that old FIFO patch now. Smile

On another note, I found there's a bug when using EFB scale Auto Fractional, or EFB scale 1.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7XnQr4iEno

Just set EFB scale to 2, 3 or Auto Incremental and goop and paint won't slide across the levels.

There's also one last bug, if you are using a windowed resolution of 640 by 480, and use EFB scale Auto Fractional, you'll get an error "Unable to stretch data to buffer"

In the long run, just dont' use Auto Fractional EFB scaling for Mario Sunshine.
