Hey there, how do I have to setup the gamepad that mario can run while splashing water?

Currently he always stops and when I move my movement analog stick mario moves his water maschine

Being able to map buttons is a really basic thing to do, just figure it out with trial and error until it's right.
Asus Laptop: K53TA

well everything works perfectly except mario cannot walk during his shooting of water...

That's the way the game was meant to be. He can't walk and shoot at the same time.

Assign the AnalogL/R to another button and press that to spray while running..

on the gamecube the R button have 2 functions (you can press it = shooting while walking, and then click it = shooting immobilized) so you have to assign 2 buttons (to "R" and "R analog") to have this.
