Hi,

At the Delphino Plaza, the music is slower than on a GameCube. Yet the game is playable (about 30-40 FPS). In other worlds (like Bianco Hills), the background music is played with a normal speed.

Why the Delphino Plaza theme music is slow ?

Super Mario Sunshine uses sequenced music (and not streamed music)... Soooo, you won't get the background music playing at normal speeds if your system can't handle Dolphin at 100% with these games...

The same apply for Zelda UCodes games (both Twilight Princess and Wind Waker -- Haven't tested Skyward Sword yet, as it seems to use streamed music)

Super Mario Sunshine is supposed to only run at 30 FPS. How are you limiting the frame rate? I've got mine set to Audio; the music and the game runs just fine with that.
