So im having these annoying framerate issues with sunshine on newer builds of dolphin. When I try and run sunshine on random development builds from the last couple of months (oldest build i've tried is 5.0-7545) the framerate is constantly jumping between 29fps and 30fps. Then every couple of minutes or so the framrate will drop to like 2 fps for half a second then return to 'normal'.

I've been using the dolphin 5 release from 2016 and that seems to be working fine, constant 30fps with 0 drops, however I'd rather be using the newer builds due to all the improvements made in the last couple of year. I should also add I'm using the widescreen gecko code provided on the wiki

So has/is anyone else having these issues/how did they fix them. Also, all my settings are default except for the settings specified on the sunshine wiki page

Gpu: gtx 1070
Cpu i7 3770k
Ram 16gb ddr3

Are you using any Gecko codes? If you are, there's currently a problem with them causing roughly the kind of performance problem that you describe.

Yep it was the widescreen gecko code, I'll just go without it. Thank you!

Does anybody else have issues with massive slowdown during netplay using the latest Dolphin build? It seems to work fine on 5.0.

Bummer, I've hit a serious issue on my side. It happens with mecha-bowser first appearance. After the cutscene of mecha-bowser showing up, screen goes black and... nothing happens. I've waited 5 whole minutes hitting all buttons, but nope, nothing.

Current settings are Vulkan in 1080p, 2x MSAA and 8x anisotropic filter on latest dev build (5.0-9010). Switching to OpenGL or D3D did not solve the issue...

Did anyone had that problem before? If not, I'll send the issue...

I forgot I had Gecko codes on that one...

So single core... no...
Widescreen... no...
60 FPS... no...
Falling Stars fix... yes! That was the one!
