the Gecko code does work but it freezes for a little bit at startup and has a few 4:3 2D scenes.

I am getting problems with applying the 16:9 Gecko patch AND using the BIOS. On the latest stable (5.0), The game just locks up and never starts. On the latest development (5.0-3235), it just doesn't apply the patch. If I Skip BIOS, then everything just works, but I don't get the cool GameCube startup thingy, which I quite enjoy
Anyone else with this problem? Have a fix? If not, is this something worth reporting to the devs? Or should I just suck it up and be startup screen-less? 04-05-2017, 09:18 PM

You can try this Gecko code instead but i don't think that will work. (60 FPS codes will mostly crashes if you use with the BIOS). I hope that helps but if still not work, use "skip Bios" option. Code: [Gecko]
My specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 x64 Processor/CPU: intel I7 3770 3.4 Ghz Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 6GB Memory/RAM: 16 GB Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0-xxxx X64 (always the latest) and the latest Ishiiruka for custom textures. I'm still learning english. Please, be patient with me. And, if i make a mistake, please correct me, i will learn a lot this way! 04-05-2017, 09:37 PM

just never use the BIOS. The BIOS has its own resources like memory, code among other things. Its probably having partial false positives with BIOS code.

Edit Reason: forgot current dev build
)
so I just got back on and started to play some more of this SmS game, and now, for no reason, the game is acting choppy and stuttering with audio; I replaced the dsp_coef.bin and dsp_rom.bin files in dolphin with my own taken from the wii using dspspy ages ago, and on build 3255, audio stuttering, when it rarely if never happened before
I experimented with the recommended settings shown on the wiki, and instead of using the widescreen gecko code (which caused a fair share of crashing), I used an AR variant some user posted here, along with the infinite water and hose ar code; while the codes worked at first, the water code stopped working, but the hose code keeps working here's the .ini file I got in zip form, can anyone help me and tell me what I need to change? at the time of this post, I downloaded the latest dev build atm (5.0-3354), but the problem persists. running nvidia gtx 650 ti card as graphics 04-24-2017, 12:25 AM
Can anyone help me? I am unable to get past the start menu, my keypress doesn't seem to register. In config, the presses register I have the keys mapped as "Standard Controller" on Dolphin 5.0, can anyone give any suggestions as to why this is not working?

I've encountered an issue with Super Mario Sunshine in which after entering Bianco Hills and exiting, I cannot re-enter! The portal will not light up even when wetting it, there also seems to be some sort of invisible "obstacle" in the way. This has happened on two seperate saves now. I'm running the 60 fps mod with some graphical tweaks within Dolphin and nothing else.
I've been Googling to no avail and searching this forum. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! |
