Also I would like to add the C-stick just seems to be moving on it's own a lot. And I also noticed the frame rate drops a bit when playing the game, but not at the cutscenes.

I had this problem. What are you using?
I had to mess around a lot with the 'range' and 'deadzone' attributes on the controller input. I managed to sort it though after 5 minutes of tweaking or so. As for the frame rate it's probably just down to your CPU and/or graphics card. The only advice I can give is the same as everyone else - just make sure you're using the most recent build.

I don't believe my computer is that old since I can play a lot of newer games with no problem. So shouldn't I be able to play gamecube games easily? When I tested another game I got the same problem. The game would drop frame rates during gameplay but not during cutscenes. When I used a stable version of Dolphin I didn't have the framerate problem but i had audio issues, but when I used a development version I had just framerate issues which affected the audio. So I'm a little lost what to do here. 11-06-2014, 10:41 AM
The common assumption that just because PC games play nice on a computer so thus Dolphin should run fine is false. A PC game relies on the GPU, while Dolphin needs a really strong CPU, which yours is below average for Dolphin. AMD hasn't made strides to increase their single-core speeds, which is what Dolphin needs since it is only a dual-core program.
Look at this thread to make sure you're in high performance for Dolphin: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-un...ance-guide Also look into overclocking, its a free speed-up. 11-07-2014, 04:13 AM
Pretty much yes... just play around with the range and deadzone until you find what settings are comfortable for you. You should notice the camera will stop rotating automatically all being well.
I'm afraid KHg8m3r is right as well... The only advice I can give is to make sure you concentrate all of your CPU on Dolphin when you are using it. Close any background programmes, stop any irrelevant processes etc.

I guess I'll have to skip GC games for now until I can get a better CPU. 11-08-2014, 01:49 AM
A Z97 motherboard and an over clocked G3258 will be a cheap upgrade if you can resue all you other parts, like case, RAM, GPU, hard drive, etc.

I have a question about playing the game in widescreen.
The PAL version of Sunshine has AR codes that enable widescreen functionality without the problem of stuff not rendering outside the 4:3 viewing area, but this version of the game unfortunately runs at 25 FPS. The NTSC version runs at 30 FPS, but from what I can tell from Sunshine's dolphin wiki page, it has no AR codes to enable widescreen functionality, and instead the widescreen hack must be used. I'd much prefer to play the NTSC version of the game because of the better framerate, but the issue of stuff not rendering properly at the edges of the screen with the widescreen hack is really, really annoying. Is there anything I can do about this? Are there any widescreen AR codes for the NTSC version that haven't been listed on the wiki page or something? 11-16-2014, 11:28 PM
