I have updated the texture pack for Rebel Strike, and the performance boost is amazing.

guess you are just talking about the reduction in size of you pack right? afaik there's not been any fps increases for this game for some time. or they would be mentioned somewhere right?

still playing on my wii u, however i can play rs2 on pc fine now though, now that the hle audio works.

for this game;

still getting random freezes on menus, sometimes when first booting the game and ingame lockups, all random.
layer transitions are still broken and lights still show through hull on spaceships

Has anyone been able to launch this on the Vulkan backend in the recent builds?

I keep getting crashes past the title screen.

Well i remember playing roque leader quite well on my old laptop (i7 2720qm and gtx485m). But now with my newer machine i don't see many improvements at all. A bit faster but not much.

Fixed in the latest Dev build.

It seems the latest Nvidia driver dropped support for a Vulkan extension and it broke Vulkan for many titles.
(Broken extension was replaced with a workaround by Stenzek)

I would've got a clevo, at least you are future proofed, i have desktop pc's, but i also have a P150EM which i upgraded to a P151SMA, replaced the motherboard, now it supports 4th gen cpu and gtx 6xx to 10xx series, instead of 6xx & 10xx, should last several more years.

not a fan of laptops with soldered components as they usually overpriced.

Can someone post their INI settings for Rebel Strike? Mine used to run smooth but I lost my config in a format and I can't seem to get the game back to its normal speed. The intro alone is dead slow.

Let me know, thanks.

Try disabling audio stretching. It seems to be broken on the latest build.

The only change I make to the ini is to comment-out: EFBToTextureEnable = False

Eg:

# EFBToTextureEnable = False

Is that the only setting you have?
