I have updated the texture pack for Rebel Strike, and the performance boost is amazing.

Has anyone been able to launch this on the Vulkan backend in the recent builds?
I keep getting crashes past the title screen. Well i remember playing roque leader quite well on my old laptop (i7 2720qm and gtx485m). But now with my newer machine i don't see many improvements at all. A bit faster but not much. 09-07-2017, 10:58 AM
Fixed in the latest Dev build.
It seems the latest Nvidia driver dropped support for a Vulkan extension and it broke Vulkan for many titles. (Broken extension was replaced with a workaround by Stenzek) 09-13-2017, 06:28 PM

I would've got a clevo, at least you are future proofed, i have desktop pc's, but i also have a P150EM which i upgraded to a P151SMA, replaced the motherboard, now it supports 4th gen cpu and gtx 6xx to 10xx series, instead of 6xx & 10xx, should last several more years. not a fan of laptops with soldered components as they usually overpriced.

Can someone post their INI settings for Rebel Strike? Mine used to run smooth but I lost my config in a format and I can't seem to get the game back to its normal speed. The intro alone is dead slow.
Let me know, thanks. 09-25-2017, 02:04 PM
Try disabling audio stretching. It seems to be broken on the latest build.
The only change I make to the ini is to comment-out: EFBToTextureEnable = False Eg: [Video_Hacks] # EFBToTextureEnable = False 09-25-2017, 10:05 PM
[Video_Hacks]
# EFBToTextureEnable = False Is that the only setting you have? |
